Read the Menus for Current, Replacing Wave at the W-Lakeshore in May

Photo: Facebook

One day after one reconcepted Italian restaurant opened (Sodikoff's Cocello), another is prepping to open in the middle of May. Wave in the W-Hotel Lakeshore will officially become Current then, and chef Greg Elliott's menus (below) are the proof.

Although the restaurant is calling itself "Italian-inspired," the menu items are completely Italian. There's housemade pastas, pizza, secondi, even cicchettis. The lunch menu also includes paninos and sandwiches. Brunch and dessert menus aren't included but they will feature Nutella-stuffed French toast, tiramisu, and flourless chocolate cake with espresso gelato and grappa cherries.

Expect a Venetian punch (bourbon, luxardo apricot, egg white) to be among the beverages, alongside a 100-bottle wine list, cordials, and craft beers.
