Chicago is getting yet another steakhouse, this time from the group behind Siena Tavern. DineAmic Group is shooting to open Prime & Provisions in the early part of next year at LaSalle Street and Wacker Drive, across the street from another steakhouse, Chicago Cut, Crain's reports.
DineAmic's David Rekhson tells Crain's the group has wanted to do a steakhouse for a long time and that the restaurant will be farm-to-table but traditional in its menu. The 12,000 square-foot space will seat a total of 440 guests (inside the restaurant, in the lobby and al fresco).
Prime & Provisions is one of a number of new steak-themed concepts coming soon including GT Prime and RPM Steak. DineAmic also has a Siena Tavern opening in Miami's South Beach area, as well as that space in the West Loop, details of which are still scarce.
