One of Lincoln Park's oldest watering holes is closing up next month. The original John Barleycorn, in business for 50 years on Belden, is shuttering next month, according to Chicago Real Estate Daily.

Owner Sam Sanchez tells CRED that business dropped due to the relocation of the Children's Memorial Hospital, which is a common cry from businesses in the area, and that he sold the building but won't say to whom. You'll still have two other Barleycorns (Wrigleyville and River North) to pull shots at.
