Waffles Cafe, Burgers and 'Wonuts' Heading to the Arami Go Space

It didn't take long for someone to snag the former Arami Go space. The casual Arami concept shuttered in January, and Waffles ownership has taken over and is planning a combination of a Waffles Cafe and the sister burger spot On The Bun.

But not only will the new location serve the creative waffle items and burgers, it will also sell "wonuts," a hybrid waffle-doughnut pastry that ownership has been testing at the Lakeview location. They make a variety of flavors, including Mexican chocolate and red velvet. What will they think of next.

The new spot will also house a juice and smoothie bar. Ownership is hoping to turn around the space fast and open by the end of the month.
