Table, Donkey & Stick will close on March 23 for a bit of remodeling, according to Crain's. The front room will be redesigned to make it more inviting to diners to stop in for an evening of eating and drinking. A huge sit-down bar along with a charcuterie station will be installed during the remodel.
When the restaurant reopens on April 3, executive chef Scott Manley will introduce a bar menu that will focus more on sandwiches and snacks. Expect a beefed up drinks menu with new cocktail, wine and beer options.
UPDATE: Manley has provided Eater with a copy of the bar menu which is available to view below. He also stated that the restaurant's Monday "industry night" specials are "going very strong" and that he hopes to increase how often that evening's menu is changed.
