Headquarters Hosts Firkin Fest; iNG's Brunch; More

LAKEVIEW/RIVER NORTH—Headquarters Beercade will host What the Firk? Firkin Fest on March 30 where 25 breweries will debut their never-before-tested cask-conditioned ales. Tickets are available for purchase here. In other Headquarters news, they are gearing up for the opening of their River North location by dropping off one vintage arcade game to neighboring apartment buildings for residents to play for free. FULTON MARKET—iNG will begin serving Sunday brunch to coincide with their "Craft Beer Experience" tasting menu, which begins tomorrow. iNG's executive chef and mixologist are creating a unique menu featuring roasted chicken with kochujang, pilsner, maple syrup and a beer sour dough waffle; and a "bleediNG Mary" with chorizo-infused Journeyman vodka. Sunday brunch begins March 9 and runs from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. [EaterWire]

RIVER NORTH—Recently-opened SideDoor will begin weekday lunch service tomorrow at 11 a.m. Look for cheese and charcuterie boards, the Lawry's wedge salad, and a house-smoked pastrami sandwich. [EaterWire]

LAPORTE COUNTY, IN—Now that their "Yesterday" dinners have ended, TMIP Restaurant will offer a sneak preview of their upcoming menu Friday and Saturday evenings throughout March at Soe Café (12868 Red Arrow Highway, Sawyer, MI). Once TMIP opens in April they will only offer one tasting menu, but for the March preview, menu items will be a la carte and portion sizes increased.
