This spring, Goose Island—Chicago's first craft brewery—introduces 312 Urban Pale Ale, its first-ever pale ale in bottles, cans, and draft. Pouring a beautiful marigold color, 312 blends Amarillo, Mt. Hood and Nugget hops, giving it a bright aroma with citrus flavor notes. A solid malt backbone rounds out the finish. It's so good that Mayor Rahm Emanuel enacted an official proclamation naming March 12, 2014 (3.12) as 312 Day in honor of the beer.
312 Urban Pale Ale is the perfect representation of Goose Island's inherently experimental spirit, taking care to constantly innovate how they brew and age beer, and encourage drinkers to go out and discover diverse urban food, music and culture.
