Chicago Chef Week begins Sunday, March 16 and features 80 local restaurants offering discounted prix fixe menus. Reservations for participating restaurants, which was spearheaded by Boka Restaurant Group in 2009 as a way to increase foot traffic, can be made through Open Table.
During Chicago Chef Week, guests are offered the opportunity to get a taste of each restaurant with either a three-course lunch ($22) or, depending on the restaurant, three or four-course dinner ($44). Participating restaurants such as Nico Osteria, The Boarding House, iNG, Carriage House, Mexique and Table Fifty-Two (and many more) would normally cost more for an afternoon or evening out.
To see all of the participating restaurants and read their menus (as well as book a table), visit the program's website here. Take note that some restaurants are only offering lunch or dinner service, while some are participating in both. Chicago Chef Week runs through March 21.
