New details are coming out on Beverly Kim and John Clark's new restaurant, Parachute. The "Top Chef" alum and her husband's new venture will be "a neighborhood restaurant with a Korean-American perspective," according to a release.
Chicago Magazine reports some specific dishes, including crispy mung bean pancake with pork belly, black garlic, and kimchi; as well as snacks, appetizers, small and large plates. Matty Colston (Telegraph), who also worked with them at Bonsoiree, will handle the beverages.
The cozy 40-seat space on Elston just south of Addison will feature traditional seating as well as communal. It's a long time coming for Kim and Clark, whose recent time at Kendall College followed a very abbreviated stint at Bonsoiree, but you won't have to wait long as Parachute is scheduled to open next month.
