Prepare for the El Hefe Country Concept Next Door

A parking lot currently sits immediately west of El Hefe, the Mexican-tinged Arizona-imported party spot that invaded River North last year. But come sometime in 2015, a massive country version of El Hefe, Whiskey Row, will fill that parking lot.

A Riot Hospitality Group representative calls it a "huge project" that they hope to break ground on this summer and open next year. The Scottsdale Whiskey Row features personal beer taps embedded in booths, a 360-degree stage with live music, a 24-foot TV screen, and "familiar American Gastropub fare type cuisine with a modern twist."

All of this should be coming to River North next year. How many party spots can the neighborhood sustain?
