Open for a year-and-a-half in Bucktown, Sunday will be the last night of service at Grass Fed. The restaurant opened in July 2012 with just one entree on the menu—grass fed steak—before expanding available dishes and changing chefs twice.
Soon the white-washed shabby chic steak spot on Damen will be something different altogether. Although "details are still being worked out," ownership promises a new concept and remodeled space soon. They hope to have those decisions set by March; stop in before Sunday to see the restaurant's current state one last time.
