Hubbard Inn and Barn & Company owners Carmen Rossi and Kevin Killerman are embarking on some serious expansion. Crain's reports that Rossi and his partners are planning three new spots, including one in the original Kamehachi space on Wells, named Pomp & Circumstance.
That restaurant's concept will reportedly be based around 1960's culture, both Mad Men-esque and beatnik. Part of the space will house a breakfast pick-up window under a separate name. They hope to open in the summer.
Killerman is also changing Kendall's Pub at 2263 N. Lincoln into a sports bar named Lincoln Avenue Social. Conceptual details are unavailable but they hope to open in mid-March.
Finally, Killerman is hoping to open another sports bar at 1340 W. Randolph St., a project that's currently in limbo. Killerman, who also owns Casey Moran's and The Twisted Lizard, took ownership of Hubbard Inn in March of 2013. The original Kamehachi moved north to 1531 Wells in 2011.
