Hot Chocolate Crawl Tonight; Forbes Honors a Grace Dish; More

RIVER NORTH—Looking to warm up tonight? There's still time to sign up for the Hot Chocolate Crawl (purchase your tickets here), which begins at 6:30 p.m. at XOCO. From there it's a hop onto a trolley that will make stops at Katherine Anne Confections, Froth and Potter's Lounge. If you can't make it tonight there are four additional dates available in February. WEST LOOP—Forbes gives a shout out to Grace's Miyazaki beef dish as one of their best dishes of 2013, calling it "outstanding and perfectly balanced." [Forbes]

WEST LOOP—Harvest Juicery is officially open for business and serving a variety of juices and smoothies at 1012 W. Lake St. [EaterWire]

UPTOWN—Permits still need to be sorted out, but it looks like Aodake Sushi & Steak House will be taking over the long uninhabited Blue Ocean space. The process is still new, so there's no telling when the restaurant, which already has locations in Romeoville and Darien, will open. [Uptown Update]
