Do Pizza & Beer Go Together? Gino's East Brewery Now Pouring in River North

Chicago deep-dish masters will offer growlers to go and work with local home brewers.

Gino's East is offering their own tasty beverages to wash down their deep-dish pies now that their brewery is serving beer inside their River North location.

Extra space for brewing beer was one of the reasons Gino's East moved into the former LaSalle Power Co. digs, and passersby can see the beer operation while peering through the windows. They're brewing a black rye IPA, English IPA, Belgian Witte and a German Helles. Gino's is also offering growlers to go.

Gino's East brass is also touting future events with the CHAOS Brew Club, a group of local home-brew enthusiasts. Beer collaborations and beer dinners could also be in the future, as well as a beer loyalty club for patrons. A grand opening party is planned sometime in January.
