The 3,940-square-foot restaurant that serves Chicago's Italian beef sandwiches could open as soon as September. [DNA Info]

SOUTH BARRINGTON—Gino's East is planning on opening a new restaurant next month in South Barrington. The deep-dish joint is taking over part of the venerable Millrose Restaurant at 45 S. Barrington Road. [Daily Herald]

LINCOLN PARK—The Twisted Baker has a new home at 2475 N. Lincoln Ave. at the former Cookie Bar spot. Earlier this year, The Twisted Baker shuttered in Old Town after losing its lease. There's no word when they'll re-open. [EaterWire]
