After 20 years on Southport, Cullen's Bar & Grill could close next month.
The pub lost its lease and is scouting a new location. Details were shared Saturday via Cullen's Facebook page.
The exact date for Cullen's last call is undetermined, but it will likely come next month. Four years ago, the bar faced foreclosure, as owner Michael Cullen was forced to sell the neighboring Mercury Theater. That ownership group also owns the space where Cullen's stands. Now those owners want Cullen's out.
A call to Cullen's general manager wasn't returned. Mercury Theater's management also failed to return a request for comment.
