Acclaimed pastry chef Meg Galus is leaving NoMI Kitchen in the Park Hyatt Chicago next month.
The Chicago 2011 Rising Star Pastry Chef broke the news to followers earlier today on Twitter.
January 7 will be my last day @NoMIchicago & @ParkHyattChi . So grateful for the past 3.5 yrs. Will miss you all!! #chocolateistheanswer

There's no word where Galus will end up. In an statement issued to Crain's she said she's looking forward to pursuing new challenges and pushing forward. Galus also had stints as pastry chef at Tru and at Cafe des Architectes inside the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower.
Park Hyatt brass told Crain's they haven't named a successor.
