Pi Gallery Bar Ready To Relaunch in January in River North

Remodeled space includes new kitchen and replaces Gallery Bar on Clark Street.

Hopefully the life of Pi Gallery Bar will be longer than its predecessor in River North.

Armed with new management, Pi Gallery Bar will replace the Gallery Bar, which closed at the end of September. Since then, crews have remodeled the space, and construction is almost complete. The new bar is scheduled to open in early January, according to a spokesman. The space will still host art shows under new management. Gallery Bar opened in June 2013.

The inside will include an indoor patio with a wall of windows and sliding glass doors. There's also a new kitchen inside. They're still finalizing the menu, but it will include thin-crust pizzas baked in a wood-burning oven, a roasted bone marrow appetizer and a fresh mozzarella caprese salad.

As for beverages, they'll have James Oliver Rye Whiskey on tap. Take a look at the sample drink menu:
