The Purple Pig legal battle continues, as the partners implicated in Scott Harris' suit filed a counter claim against Harris on Monday.
Details of the claim weren't made available by the Cook County circuit clerk's office, but the next hearing is set for Dec. 29.
Harris, who you know as the head of the Francesca's restaurant group, last month filed a 35-page, 14-count suit against his Purple Pig partners James Bannos Jr., James Bannos Sr. and Tony Mantuano claiming they embezzled and used shifty accounting practices to hide money from Harris. While that suit argued it was impossible to estimate how much the partners allegedly owe Harris because he'd been denied a look at the books, it did claim The Purple Pig generated a $1.6 million net profit for 2014, based on $7.5 million in gross revenues. Stay tuned.
