The Big Hurt Brewhouse, the project that bears former White Sox Frank Thomas' name, opened Saturday afternoon.
Officials made the announcement via social media. The menu includes pub fare such as barbecue, flatbreads and burgers.

The opening has been repeatedly delayed until officials announced a plant to open in September in time for football season. No beer will be brewed at the facility in south suburban Berwyn inside a former bank. Management held a VIP party last week and former baseball players including Jermaine Dye and Ozzie Guillen attended.
The National Baseball Hall of Fame inducted Frank Thomas, the former White Sox first baseman, into its ranks earlier this year.
