If venturing into Parson's Chicken and Fish on a weekend at this time of the year makes you feel claustrophobic, you're going to like news of their upcoming expansion. Soon those fears will be alleviated when the first of two canopy additions should be completed at the beginning of 2015, according to DNAinfo.
The chicken and fish joint's popularity leads to packed houses which, during colder or wetter days, doesn't make hanging around outside to get in to grab one of the 30 seats very pleasurable. These new canopies will allow for more seating and more room to get out of cold and rain/snow.
The first canopy, situated over the first patio, is expected to be completed in January. The second will hit the restaurant's back patio later in 2015.
