Scenes from the Goose Island Chef Meets Brewer Dessert Pairing at Hot Chocolate

On Monday night, Eater, Goose Island and 50 awesome readers gathered for a evening entirely dedicated to beer and desserts at local favorite Mindy’s Hot Chocolate.

Guests indulged in completely custom confections by Mindy Segal including "wortcicles", pumpkin cupcakes with foie gras buttercream, Bourbon County Stout cupcakes and homemade hot chocolate with hand-crafted donuts.

Goose Island brewmaster Brian was on site to explain the best ways to pair beer with sweets – he even treated guests to a preview of 5 varieties of this year’s Bourbon County Stout, officially released on Black Friday.
