STREETERVILLE—The second Stan's Donuts and Coffee started slinging doughnuts and coffee in the Northwestern Hospital Building (259 E. Erie) this morning. The space and menu are nearly identical to the first Chicago outpost in Wicker Park. [Multiple Reports]

AVONDALE—The Slide Ride food truck owner Nida Rodriguez's storefront, delayed about a year, is finally open for business. Although it still serves sliders, the restaurant, as its now named Frite Street, focuses on a variety of topped French fries and condiments in a small space with one large communal table. Get a free order of plain fries or 25 percent off your order at the grand opening today. RIVER NORTH—Boss Bar's pizza window, appropriately named The Pizza Window, is open at 418 N. Clark. It serves no-frills foldable slices until the wee hours (4 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays) for the River North nightlife revelers. [Multiple Reports]

SOUTH LOOP—FruVe' xPress Juicery, which bills itself as "the world's most complete juice bar," opened this week at 1130 S. Wabash. It's open from 7-7 daily and the menu changes seasonally, but you can read the initial menu here. [EaterWire]
