Inside Revival Social Club, Reviving M. Henrietta Space Beginning Today in Edgewater

The all-day restaurant opened at 8 a.m. on Granville.

Eaters in Edgewater didn't have to wait long for a replacement for the popular M. Henrietta, as Revival Social Club opened for business at 8 a.m. at 1133 W. Granville. The new all-day restaurant mixes small and large plates, craft cocktails and a robust selection of coffee drinks at breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch seven days a week from the get-go.

The 74-seat spot has the feel of a refined neighborhood restaurant, with a hardwood-heavy candlelit dining room mingling amongst wooden bars, a 20-seat back patio and the arched front windows that were a hallmark of M. Henrietta.

Chef Matthew Brems' full menu is unavailable at press time, but reps promise twists on comfort food at all three meals, many with a diner theme, such as coffee-crusted pork tenderloin, jelly doughnut pancakes, curried chicken pot pie, and a short rib sandwich. Dark Matter coffee is the java of choice, while the "Chai Town" (chai tea and Koval vodka) and a bacon old fashioned highlight the alcoholic beverage selections.

Revival opens early (8 a.m. Monday-Saturday; 9 a.m. Sunday) and stays open until 11 p.m. on weeknights and midnight on Friday and Saturday.
