Changes at Taverna 750 With Help From Nashville Chef; Specialty Chef Pizzas at Roots Handmade in October; More

BOYSTOWN—Nashville chef Arnold Myint and his alter ego, Suzy Wong, has created the new cocktail and food menus for Taverna 750, which closed for menu and decor revamps. The restaurant is also serving Myint's wine, Show Pony as well. [Nashville Scene]

WEST TOWN—Beginning today and running the entire month of October, Roots Handmade Pizza will feature five specialty pizzas made by local chefs. Participating chefs include Iliana Regan (Elizabeth), Ed Sura (Perennial Virant), Chris Gawronski (Acanto), Martin Arellano (The Fifty/50) and Chris Teixeira (West Town Bakery). A portion of the proceeds goes to Un86'd, which helps out professionals in the restaurant industry. [EaterWire]
