The witching hour is when the scene is just getting started at Slippery Slope in Logan Square. Dancing and cocktail-seekers line up outside the nondescript brown doors on Milwaukee Avenue and pack the red-hued anti-nightclub within, sipping on bottled cocktails, draft beers in glass mugs and downing shots while cramming the sweaty dance floor and playing skee ball under a crimson glow.
