Last night, Esquire unveiled its 2014 list of The Best New Restaurants in America which is now part of the magazine's American Food and Drink Awards. One Chicago establishment was honored—Nico Osteria—placing another feather in the cap of superstar chef/restauranteur Paul Kahan and his One Off Hospitality group.
New-ish Esquire food editor Josh Ozersky writes that "the sheer luxuriousness of Nico comes as a surprise" before delving into accolades on the savory menu items, desserts, and digestifs at One Off's glitzy Gold Coast Italian hotel restaurant that opened last December. Carriage House and Embeya made Esquire's list last year.
