A Peek At Cocktails From Forthcoming Tippling Hall

Slowly but surely, details are emerging about the forthcoming Tippling Hall from Mercadito Hospitality. Paul Tanguay and Tad Carducci (The Tippling Brothers), have provided a peek at some of the drinks at their global cocktail concept in the former Hop Haus space.

The names of the cocktails indicate a fun, lively atmosphere will be had at Tippling Hall. From "Big Nose Gets Lei'ed" (a reimagining of Sex on the Beach), to "Fiery Balls" (whiskey, cinnamon, maple, Fresno chile, and Asian citrus juice), and the "One Sour Samurai" (sweet potato shochu, ginjo sake, lemon, white tea, and suchachi), it would seem that Tanguay and Carducci want guests to have a good time.

The duo will also introduce Chicago to "Sloshies," fresh-mixed frozen drinks, and will feature more than 40 foreign and domestic bottled and canned beers, along with more than 50 wines.

Though no specific details are available as of writing, a menu of comfort food from chef/partner Guillermo Tellez (also at Mercadito's Tavernita, as well as Little Market Brasserie) will be similarly global in design.

Tippling Hall is schedule to open this spring and will be open from lunchtime until very late (4 a.m. daily and 5 a.m. on the weekend). Look for more details as they emerge.
