Cider Competition At Barrelhouse Flat; Haute Sausage Hosts Saturday Night Braii; more

LINCOLN PARK—This Monday night Virtue Cider will be hosting "Mitten Nights," a cider competition at Barrelhouse Flat. 14 local competitors will use The Mitten, Virtue's winter seasonal cider, to put a new twist on a Colonial drink. The event will feature $9 cider cocktails, and is will also feature a winter clothing drive. [EaterWire]

LOOP—Tickets are still available for Haute Sausage's Saturday Night Braii BYOB event featuring boerewors, grilled sosatis, chicken peri peri and more South African cuisine. Ticket prices are $75 per person and validated parking is available for $5. [EaterWire]
