One Off Hospitality Planning Yet Another Wicker Park Restaurant

At this rate, One Off Hospitality might have its own sub-neighborhood in Wicker Park. Paul Kahan, Donnie Madia and company have signed a lease in the former Cipollina space, which is next door to the Big Star expansion and roughly across the street from Violet Hour. The Big Star expansion will result in a relocated takeout window, expanded patio, and new commissary.

First reported by Chicago Real Estate Daily, One Off is keeping the concept concealed for now. While Stan's Donuts is opening soon and the original Glazed & Infused is also in the vicinity, DNAinfo quotes One Off founder Peter Garfield saying that "It's not coffee and doughnuts."

Cipollina shuttered in July. Add another big-name project in its 850 square-foot space to the mounting neighborhood turnover, which includes a new Rick Bayless restaurant.
