After Chef Leaves, MorseL Shutters in Rogers Park

The last six months haven't been kind to North Side restaurateur Colm Treacy. Following the shuttering of one of his other establishments, T's Restaurant and Bar, by the Cook County Sheriff in March, Treacy has shuttered his Rogers Park restaurant MorseL after less than a year in business.

Chef Mary Ann Culleton left MorseL two weeks ago for Treacy's former business partner Rene Labrana's recently-opened R Public House, signaling trouble for MorseL. Treacy tells DNAinfo that he might open another type of business in the location.
