Roughly two months from now the 2014 Michelin Guide's star ratings and bib gourmands will be announced. The guide's Twitter account is a great place to catch a glimpse into what restaurants could make the list (as well as which ones may drop off).
Few clues as to where restaurants stand can be found, but below are some of @MichelinGuideCH's most interesting missives so far this year.
Will Evanston's Found find an entrance onto the bib gourmand list? Back in March, @MichelinGuideCH stated:
A recent meal @FoundKitchen was so good, I thought I died and went to Anthropologie.

Sixteen's chances of retaining its Michelin star, and maybe even gaining another, seem to be strong based on this tweet:
If you thought @ChefLents at Sixteen was good last year, you need to go back and let him knock your socks off.

The prospects of City Tavern retaining its bib gourmand status aren't looking so hot after the following was sent out into the ether not once, but twice this year:
When Chef Kendall Duque left City Tavern, he took much of its soul with him.

Will Carrie Nahabedian's Michelin-starred Naha enjoy some sister celebration this year? Her newest venture...
Brindille is a show-stopper! Elegant in every way, no detail was overlooked. A great ending Paris-Brest w/berries & rose petal ice cream.

Sounds like a very possibly maybe-yes.
All signs are pointing to Curtis Duffy's Grace receiving Michelin status its first year out. Based on all of the over the moon reviews and positive word of mouth from customers, it would be a shock if it didn't. @MichelinGuideCH definitely appeared to be bowled over when they wrote:
The elegant parade of courses I eagerly awaited @grace_chicago had me on the edge of my seat. Amazing flavors, stunning dishes.

Homaro Cantu's Moto would seem to be in good standing as well, getting two shout-outs this year. In June they wrote:
The most recent meal at Moto was, dare I say, different. As always wonderfully surprising, but each dish completely delicious. Every dish.
— Michelin Guide (@MichelinGuideCH) June 28, 2013
And in August:
The current take on the edible menu at Moto shows that chef Homaro Cantu is always moving the bar.

Recent openers OON and Tanta have been hit with some Michelin shrapnel.
The lengthy anticipation for OON has led to a short honeymoon. Chef Eversman needs to step it up on that stretch of Randolph.
— Michelin Guide (@MichelinGuideCH) September 11, 2013
And two days later:
If Tanta's food was as strong Gaston Acurio's P.R. machine, it would be fantastic, but?
