Archer Café, Te Milk House, and Crave Café & Lounge Among Recent Openings

BRIDGEPORT—Archer Café (2951 S. Archer Ave.), a new Chinese restaurant specializing in Cantonese cuisine, has opened. Serving up many Chinese-American classics (orange chicken, Mongolian beef, etc.), owner Sandy Li emphasizes the restaurant's freshness, including a lineup of fruit smoothies. The restaurant will also be adding dim sum and Chinese buns to the menu in the future. Mostly for carry-out and delivery there are also some tables and counter space available. [DNAinfo]

LINCOLN PARK—The "teapresso" machine is now running inside Te Milk House. Serving Hong Kong-style milk tea since last month on 2551 N. Clark, the space only has a few seats to enjoy the "tea that doesn't have to be boring." [Patch]

SOUTH LOOP—Crave Café and Lounge (1250 S. Michigan Ave.), is now open. At least the café part is, a the lounge is awaiting their liquor license, which is expected soon. The customer experiences have trickled in on Sloopin, but since they've been open less than a week, it's too early to get an accurate read. [Sloopin]
