For the first time in its sixteen years of existence, Blackbird will begin dinner service on Sundays starting September 8 from 5:30-10 p.m. They're adding several new items to kick things off: romaine soup with snail sausage and hazelnuts; corned beef tongue with charred sweet corn, brioche; salted watermelon with elderflower, arugula and sorrel; and more. Also adding rotating seasonal cocktails, the program will start with ripe plums, segueing to watermelon and then pears as the season changes. [EaterWire]
