New Lounge Coming to River North; Snappy Service Exterior Staying; More

RIVER NORTH—A new lounge is coming to the former Climax space on Chicago Avenue. Parliament, a spot with a rooftop lounge, plenty of champagne, and other opulent features, is scheduled to open next Friday. [UrbanDaddy]

UKRAINIAN VILLAGE—Remember that Snappy Service hamburger signage that was exposed after the original La Pasadita closed? Well, despite that the new place, Authentaco, is a taco joint, the signage will stay. It will also have a rear patio and corn smut. [Dish]

BUCKTOWN—If you like to indulge in the combination of tattoos and barbeque, head to the second annual Tattoo-B-Que on Saturday at Revolution Tattoo (2221 N. Western). They'll have grub by Manbque, Six Point beer and Virtue Cider, and $100 food-themed tattoo specials. [EaterWire]

LOOP—Details are out for the 28th annual Berghoff Oktoberfest, which they say is the longest-running Oktoberfest in Chicago. Taking place September 11-13 at Adams and Dearborn, the event features a free portion and a VIP portion, live music, and German food and drink. [EaterWire]
