Another Italian Restaurant, this One from Phil Stefani, Coming to River North

The old Anichini's space on Ohio and Wells is finally going to be filled—with a restaurant from a local Italian empire. Phil Stefani's Signature Restaurants, which recently closed a Tuscany Cafe in the Loop, has ownership of the space and is planning to open a new restaurant there, a Stefani Management Services representative confirms. It's unknown at this time exactly what it will be, as Phil Stefani is currently in Italy and unable to be reached. Representatives have no further details right now.

The space was up for rent, but Stefani's decided to build it out themselves. The new restaurant will join an overflow of recent Italian openings in River North, including J. Rocco Italian Table & Bar, Centro Ristorante, and Siena Tavern. Advertising signage in the window portrays Phil Stefani's 437 Rush. More to come soon.
