OLD TOWN—New York-style pizza joint 5 Boroughs Pizza Company has hit skid row. The spot, known for their Big Apple style floppy thin crust slices, opened in 2009. [EaterWire]

CLYBOURN CORRIDOR—Canadian restaurant chain Earls Kitchen & Bar has signed a 10-year lease in the upcoming New City development near the Clybourn and Halsted intersection. They serve an eclectic menu of ribs, pizzas, pastas, and wok-fried dishes. The building is scheduled to open in summer 2015. [CRED]

WEST LOOP—Little Goat is having a busy week. With their French Market booth opening on Friday, they're also opening their rooftop patio to the public starting Sunday. You can bring food from Little Goat Bread during the week and a rooftop bar, serving booze and small bites, will be open on weekend evenings. [EaterWire]

RAVENSWOOD—Tickets are on sale now for the second annual CigarBQue on June 21 at Beyond Design (4515 N. Ravenswood). Hosted by chefs Rick Gresh (David Burke's Primehouse), Giuseppe Tentori (GT Fish & Oyster, Boka) and Cleetus Friedman (The Fountainhead), it'll feature outdoor BBQ; beer, wine, and bubbly; and a "special selection of cigars."
