DMK Restaurants' upcoming barbecue spot, County Barbecue, must be getting close. A brightly-colored checkered paint job appeared on the brick exterior in a matter of hours, pastels gleaming in the afternoon sun before storms hit later in the evening.
Michael Kornick, David Morton, and chef Erick Williams are hope to bring Southern flavor to a small 40-seat (up from 28) space on Taylor Street this summer, using an "ole hickory" smoker and a bacon bar as tools. Now the outside has a little flavor as well.
