La Boulangerie in Logan Square will be selling "crognets" beginning tomorrow, which might just be a croissant-beignet hybrid. Employees don't have more information and their supplier, Cook Au Vin, isn't available. Gur Sweets Bakery and Chicago Pastry both claim to have offered the first cronut knockoffs in the area, only Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York sells the real thing. [Facebook]
