New Italian Restaurant Heading to the South Loop

Printer's Row and the South Loop college strip are about to get a new Italian option. Sofi Restaurant and Bar, from former Riccardo Enoteca and Riccardo Trattoria co-owner Maurizio Michi, is shooting for a June 15 opening at 616 S. Dearborn, Sloopin reports.

Michi, who owned the Riccardo sister restaurants in Lincoln Park with his brother Riccardo, has had a falling out with his family and decided to open his own place, an Enoteca employee says. He was born in Milan and also worked in New York.
