Henri Chef Takes Second in Chaine des Rotisseurs; Changes at Elizabeth; More

MILLENNIUM PARK—Henri sous chef Brandon Zarb took second place in the 36th Chaîne des Rôtisseurs National Young Chefs Contest, awarded at the Trump Hotel Saturday night. Zarb, a Detroit native, has only been at Henri for five weeks. No Chicago chef has ever won the competition. [EaterWire]

LINCOLN SQUARE—Starting July 11, Elizabeth Restaurant is changing things up by employing separate tables (rather than communal) and just one menu. The newsletter says it's "to create a more diginified dining experience" at the ticketed new-gatherer restaurant. [EaterWire]
