WEST LOOP—Shin Thompson's Japanese brasserie Kabocha is set to open its doors up tomorrow. Although they're taking reservations, they're also booked through the weekend but walk-in bar seating is available. Check out the preview and the gallery. [EaterWire]

WRIGLEYVILLE—Sweet Baby Ray's Smokehouse, Bourbon, and Beer, originally scheduled to open April 19, is opening tomorrow at 3478 N. Clark. Expect ribs, Alabama chicken, corn maque choux, bruleed banana pudding, and "faux" pulled pork from executive chef Dylan Lipe. [EaterWire]
