Sumi Robata Bar Serving Lunch; Emporium Hosts Beer 1UP; More

RIVER NORTH—Sumi Robata Bar is now open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As part of the new lunch, Sumi is introducing a bento option, a traditional Japanese boxed lunch composed of compartmentalized menu items, for $15. Guests can customize their bento box with a choice of a vegetable, seafood, or protein cooked on the robata grill and served over rice. [EaterWire]

WICKER PARK—Emporium Arcade Bar along with local blogs SubBeerbia.net, BlahBlahBeer.com, and MetaCookbook.com are hosting Beer 1UP, an alternative to 3 Floyds Dark Lord Day, which will run from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. There will be plenty of local, up-and-coming breweries in attendance, as well as a pinball tournament and a live Homebrew demonstration by the experts of Brew Camp. [Facebook]

HYDE PARK—After serving authentic New York-style deli fare from its food truck for two years now, Bergstein's NY Deli has signed a lease this past Friday, and will now occupy its very own restaurant space on 55th Street.
