Jason Vincent Named a Food & Wine Best New Chef

From the King of Porc to this news today, it's been quite a year for Nightwood chef Jason Vincent. A large honor was bestowed this morning on last year's Cochon 555 national champion, being named a Food & Wine Best New Chef.

Vincent joins fellow Chicago chefs Danny Grant, Grant Achatz, Rick Bayless, Stephanie Izard, Koren Grieveson, Paul Kahan and Giuseppe Tentori in receiving the honor. The awards dinner is tonight in New York City, Eater National has the full list and press release.
