A Tour of Rick Bayless' Private Garden Up For Sale

The Rick Bayless Garden

Rick Bayless has a private garden in a secret location outside the city limits with untold amounts of peppers, herbs, and who knows what else. It is the size of three city lots. He uses it to stock his restaurants. And a chance to visit it will go on sale at a secret time.

In conjunction with the National Restaurant Association show this May at McCormick Place, attendees will have a chance to purchase tickets for $75 sometime after April 5. Industry people must register for the show, watch the NRA Facebook updates and Twitter feeds, and they'll post updates on how to purchase. How many tickets will be available is also a secret, but it'll be an "intimate gathering" on May 18 at 9 a.m.
