In nine months of existence, Grass Fed has seen its share of change. It started out serving just one entree, steak, before expanding the menu. Much of the menu, staff, and management has turned over, in addition to concept changes, and they now have a new head chef—Jason Myers, formerly of Deleece Grill in Lakeview. Myers has a new spring menu launching May 1.
Myers is a native of Australia and of German and Filipino heritage. He has also worked at Bin 36, Bistro Campagne, Uncommon Ground and Hopleaf after seven years in California. He takes over the Grass Fed kitchen from Dirul Shamsid-Deen, who took a job in Alaska.
In addition to the new chef and spring menu, Grass Fed is also rolling out new spring cocktails and their outdoor patio opened Friday. Check back May 1 to see what Myers is doing with the menu.
