Since the original word on Parson's Chicken & Fish yesterday morning, some new details have arisen on the Land & Sea Dept. project. Hunter Moore (Girl & the Goat, Lula Cafe, Nightwood) will be the executive chef, and Max Wolod (North Pond, XOCO) will be the general manager and beverage director. Moore will be asked to "elevate typical fish and chicken joint offerings" in seasonal menus that blend coastal, comfort, soul, and street food.
The exact location, 2952 W. Armitage, will have an outdoor space. They've held the location since at least last July, according to city documents, and the structure is 1000 square-feet without the patio.
More details are certain to arise fast, as they've been working on it for nine months and the scheduled opening is mid-April. More to come soon.
