Fashion Outlets of Chicago, the enormous outlet mall opening in Rosemont August 1, announced the definitive list of restaurant and retail tenants today. The bi-level 530,000 square-foot structure's food options will be anchored by Prasino and Villagio, a South Florida-based Italian chain. It will be the first Villagio outside of the Sunshine State, which serves a classic Italian-American menu of pastas, pizzas, meat and fish dishes, and carpaccios.
A Prasino spokesperson says the new location will be a similar size to the Wicker Park spot and serve a similar sustainable and seasonal menu. There will also be a quick-service version, dubbed Prasino Go. The brand is growing rapidly, recently announcing a location in the St. Louis area and looking for more. The traffic at the gigantic fashion mall, five minutes from O'Hare, will surely be a boon.
The mall will also feature a first-floor food court and other quick-service options, Chicago Burger Company and Maoz Vegetarian among them. This will be the fourth Fashion Outlets mall, joining Las Vegas, Santa Fe, and Niagara Falls. Look for the giant LED screens on its roof when you're landing at O'Hare.
