Play ball! The White Sox season gets underway Monday and warmer days are hopefully not too far behind. For those who root for the the Good Guys, they may find themselves enjoying a game at U.S. Cellular Field. If the thought of regular ballpark fare doesn't excite you, don't despair because there are other quality dining options available. North and South Siders can both agree on Smoque, and a steamed bun from Wow Bao beats any old pretzel. Make your 2013 White Sox season a dining success by checking out our guide.
U.S. Cellular Field’s Four Standouts
Wow Bao: Change it up from the usual stadium fare and bite into a warm, steamed bun filled with chicken, pork and more. [Section 138]
Bullpen Sports Bar: Get there early and grab one of the best seats in the house. Drink up and watch the game from the bullpen. [Gate 2]
Burger Barn: Mix it up with a sausage or turkey burger. If that’s not enough try the brand-new Comiskey Burger (double or triple cheeseburger topped with "Chitown Pico", a relish salsa creation made with all the Chicago Dog ingredients (sport peppers, green relish, diced tomato and onions) and topped with celery salt. [Section 113 and 529]
Bacardi at the Park: The sports bar located outside the stadium is open to fans with or without tickets and is a great spot to catch all the games. It features a menu by the Gibsons Restaurant Group, which includes USDA Gibsons prime angus beef burgers, smoked barbecue baby back ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket and more.
Walking Taco (bag of Fritos served with stadium nacho cheese, chili and a fork) is now available in the big leagues in sections 110, 164 and 544.
