Nightwood, Pilsen's little restaurant that could, has added a new face in the sweets department. Sarah Mispagel has been brought on as the new pastry chef, helming the dessert program with new menu items like chocolate bombe cake and upside down apple cake.
Mispagel is a California native and student of the San Diego Art Institute Culinary Program. After moving to Chicago she's worked at MK and the Sofitel Hotel. She'll bring micro-seasonal fare to the ever-changing Nightwood menu.
